OATS Transit is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation that provides general public transportation in 87 Missouri counties, specializing in rural transportation. Their services include deviated-fixed routes, medical and dialysis transportation, disability programs, and senior transportation, among others, with a commitment to safe, caring, and reliable transportation for all ages and backgrounds. Founded in 1971, OATS Transit has grown to become one of the largest and most unique rural transportation providers in the United States.
