About
Newhouse KC is Kansas City's first and longest-running domestic violence shelter, founded in 1971. It provides a comprehensive ecosystem of services, including safe housing, education, mental health therapy, court advocacy, and substance dependency counseling, to help survivors of domestic violence achieve safety, self-sufficiency, and whole-person healing. The organization offers various programs to support adults and children, aiming to break the cycle of abuse and empower survivors to reach their full potential.
